Jacob Black looks around, obviously rather confused, and more than a little afraid, although rather good at hiding it. "Sam? Bella?" He turns around on the spot a few times, and then, begrudgingly, calls out, "Edward? Anyone?" Not having heard anyone reply, Jacob growls low under his breath and sets about investigating, for lack of anything better

Firekeeper, curled up in front of the fire, uncoils, sniffs, and sits back on her haunches, being currently more wolfish than usual. She tilts her head and just...staaaares. Now that, she thinks, is a weird smell.

Firekeeper looks worried and goes over to nudge his head sympathetically. Your pack is not here? Mine either. It is lonely, sometimes.

Thankful for Firekeeper's sympathy, Jacob nudges back, and whines. I don't know what to do without my pack. I don't even know where I am!

She flops down next to him just for company and sighs heavily. I don't really either. It's all very strange here.

Jacob sits up as Firekeeper flops down, and raises his head in a long, sad howl. If he were human, he'd probably be crying. He hadn't realized how empty he'd feel in wolf form if everyone else weren't in his head.

Firekeeper tilts her head back, sighs heavily, and then sings with him, mostly empathizing with the lost feeling. She at least, after leaving her pack, had Blind Seer, and now she has Mabon, but this strange wolf-souled has no one.

Jacob only stops howling when he has no more breath, and then he flops back on the floor and whines, nipping at Firekeeper's paws in irritation. He's not mad at her, he's just sad and confused.

Firekeeper pulls her paws out of reach and butts her head into his shoulder. My paws, silly. She says, then more seriously, If I can find Mabon, I could take you to him. He might help.

Jacob nips at Firekeeper's shoulder, feeling a small bit happier. Help would be nice.
