Mordred flashes him a grin over the back of a couch. "It's a public place. Next time you can just walk in."

He glances around the room with mild interest. "It does not look like any inn I have ever seen."

Here is a busty and grinning young woman of 18 or so. "Well, sir, did y'knock?"

"Of course I knocked," he replies, only just refraining from rolling his eyes.

"Well, then, we are hopeless rude."

"Yes," he agrees. "That was my implication."

After seven years at Hogwarts, Harry is hardly surprised to see someone appear out of nothing, but he does jump a little, just the same.
"Maybe if you tried knocking," dryly.

"Does everyone truly think I did not knock? I am hardly a fool."

He ignores the question, instead looking at the man with interest, "D'you have an invisibility cloak? My Dad has one, but I'm not allowed to use it."

"Of course not," he replies. "There is no such thing."

He frowns, "Then how come you were just invisible? Are you a wizard?"

"How ridiculous. Going unnoticed is not at all the same as being invisible. No one can be invisible."

"But I notice, sir, that you did not answer the door, either."

"I should say so. Is this your home?"
