As it happens, this boy who looks like a fisherman's son is curled up in a corner of the warmest room in the Mansion. Owl is perched on the mantle, regarding everyone with disdain; Kavi, who looks like an infinitely younger version of the description Spade will have given her, has his head in his hands.

Though she can't verify the description, there's nevertheless something about the boy that catches her attention.

"Hello," she says in an even voice, watching the boy carefully carefully. "Are you alright?"
