Jakabok has been freed from his book (thanks to David Talbot and Susan Pevensie - the double freedom will be explained by him being converted back to a book in between because of some fault in the mansion's magic and it could happen again at any time

Miranda gasps to see him, but as she stares, which she does for a long while, she does not necessarily betray any fear.

"What?"

"Anthing. Your age. Where you are from. How long you have been at this mansion. Do you want to sit down somewhere so we can have a more comfortable conversation?"

She smiles and nods. "And will then you tell of yourself?"

"I will if you wish to know." He replies, finding them a shady spot under a tree to sit.

"O, I do!"

"Then I will listen to your story first."

[topofadmiration]

She laughs. "I now forget what you did wish to know."

[jakabokbotch]

"Anything about you," he prompts.

[topofadmiration]

She bites her lip, trying to think of something.

"Where did you live before this?" He persists.

[topofadmiration]

"With my father on an isle, though I know not its name."

[jakabokbotch]

"And how old are you?"

[topofadmiration]

"Fifteen years."

[jakabokbotch]

"So young."

[topofadmiration]

"Nay, sir!" she protests, playfully indignant.
