Christine has been quiet lately; one can only suppose that she has been spending her time with her husband but where she has been and what she has been doing is hardly the point. Ada sees her and smiles, but does not want to interrupt her reading, so she simply takes a seat in a nearby chair.

Though he sees her everyday, he still can't help but smile whenever he does. So he smiles and kisses her cheek, "I think your tea is cold, my dear."

Another blond passes the open doorway, pauses, and then turns and purposefully enters the room. The fact that Christine is preoccupied does not hinder him whatsoever, and his violet eyes gleam.

Smiling with unashamed charm, Lestat perches on the arm of the nearest chair, facing her, and leans forward (though not too close.) "Hello, my dear. Am I disturbing you?" Lestat's eyes go to her book, then rise again to meet hers. "'No rays from the holy heaven come down'..." He sits back slightly, his hands fold over one knee, and tilts his head as he regards her. "Such theory has been proved wrong."

*Mina happens to enter with her own book - Wilkie Collins, The Moonstone - and her own cup of tea - Earl Grey, with milk and a little sugar - and hesitates a moment before approaching, not wanting to disturb Christine.* Would you mind if I joined you?
