Two little redheaded Elves are sneaking through the mansion, a bit bruised, a bit spooked, and very much wondering where their parents and various big brothers are. They don't look as bad as they could be at least, both have at least one unblackened eye, and in their opinion they gave almost as good as they got. And at least they didn't get ( Read more... )

Fingon is wandering through the mansion when he spots the twins, looking very much the worse for wear, and stops dead in his tracks. "Ambarussa?" he asks, peering at them worriedly. He might not be a brother, but hopefully he's just as good?

Maitimo's best friend, of course he's just as good. So now he's got a little cousin clinging to each leg and jabbering on about the mean boy with wings who was beating up on another boy so they tried to stop him (got hit right here, see?) and then there was a scary woman who did magic and made walls and wouldn't let them leave and they didn't like it and where are Maitimo and their other brothers anyway?

...That's the gist of it at least, how much he gets while they're both chattering at once and at different points in the story...well. Good luck, Fingon.

He sighs heavily and crouches down in front of them, checking to make sure they're not actually bleeding or anything, and half-listens to their story as he does so. Thankfully he has had experience with this before.

"Right. Tell me again, slowly this time, and we'll go and find Maitimo while you do," he says when they're finally finished, standing up and taking each by a hand in order to go and look for his cousin.

There may be a few scrapes, but it's mostly bruises, and they're more shaken up by the magic than the fight. They each hold tight to a hand as one, probably Pityo, relates the incident more slowly. "There was a boy, and he had wings, and he was being mean to another boy who was littler and he was really big, so we helped the other boy--"

"Armand," Telvo whispers at his brother, suddenly remembering.

"--Yeah, and then there was a scary woman and she made invisible walls and yelled at everyone--"

"We didn't like her," Telvo adds.

"--And we can't find Maitimo or anybody else anywhere," Pityo finishes.

Jaenelle is wandering through the Mansion, looking wary but curious, when she comes upon the twins. She takes one look at them and frowns. "What happened?" She asks, concerned as her older self would be upon finding injured anyone.

"Nothing," one says defensively. The other nods and hangs onto his brother's hand. Neither seem willing to discuss it with her, they don't know her after all.

Jaenelle scowls, looking distinctly unhappy at this, but accepts it. "I see," she says in a slightly icy voice that is remarkably similar to her older one. "I didn't know that one could get so bruised by nothing."

Well, they're not going to get another stranger involved in their fight, especially not a girl. They wouldn't get a girl involved in a fight anyway even if they knew her. Unless, perhaps, it was cousin Artanis.

"We're fine."

"Don't need help."

It's over now, anyway.
