Just what we need. Another knight.

He's not wearing his armor, though he is wearing his sword, and carrying his shield. He's clearly a knight, though, even with out it, in the way he carries himself, and the way he rides. Riding out of the woods, he frowns. The house that appears before him is not even remotely familiar. It's not even like anything that's familiar. And he isn't ( Read more... )

"It has neither, monsieur. Well, we sometimes call it the Mansion."

"Neither a name, nor a lord, sir?" He frowns, then dismounts. "But it is such a grand house. Is it not odd?"

"Very, but some of us have been here for years. We're used to it by now." He looks over the man's attire. "You seem even more lost than I. I'm Armand St. Just, originally from Paris." He bows.

He returns it. "Sir Lamorak of King Arthur's court."

Michal, looking distinctly unknightlike, passes by on some inconsiquential errand. He gives Lamorak a curious look before shifting the back of food slung over his back and preparing to move on back towards Ilmarinen's. New people really aren't his cup of tea. Although it does look like this one may actually be able to fight.

The sidelong look doesn't go unnoticed. "You, sir. Who do you serve?"

"Duke Yeremi Vishnovyetski."

"Ah. I serve a king, sir, and as good a man as any who breathes." He smiles, charmingly, but with a hint of a grin: ready for a contest if the other man wants one, though there's no malice in him here.

This week just gets better.

Mordred is on his way back to the Mansion, against all his inclination, because though he may still be furious with his cousin he does owe her one. When he spots the newcomer he slows, and then stops in consternation.

He blinks. "Sir Mordred," he says with wary respect. None of Pellinore's sons will ever look at Lot's sons quite easily, even if he doesn't remember his own end. Still, Mordred was a worthy enough knight and the king's son as well as Lot's, so he doesn't wish to be rude.

It's not, without that memory, immediately clear why Mordred backs away. "So you made it," tautly.

He raises his eyebrows. "I was not aware that I was expected, sir."

"Sir Gareth." He offers a small smile. "How are you? You..." he blinks. "You look a bit older than I remember."

At present, he also looks vastly relieved. "It's weird here. Uh... how are you?"

"I'm well enough. Confused."

Percy can't help it; he waves furiously. "Lamorak!"

He smiles at his enthusiasm, but says "Forgive me, sir, I'm afraid I don't recall your face."

"It's Peredur. Percy." A small smile.

His face lights with laughter. "Peredur? But... how?" He gets off the horse to greet his brother.
