"He is not here," Morgause says dryly from the stairs (never let it be said that she can't make a dramatic entrance - skirts trailing, white hand on the rail).
Most children would be intimidated by a woman cutting Morgause's figure; Scorpius would probably be intimidated even if he were an adult, although he tries not to let it show. "Who's not here?" he asks. "Who are you?"
Scorpius turns toward him and does a double-take; he wasn't expecting someone so obviously a muggle to be here. "No," he says, pocketing his wand as discreetly as he can and hoping he's not been seen doing magic. "I'm all right on my own."
He only glances at Harry momentarily before turning back to his books, noting the similarity to James the younger and Albus but not his scar. "Yes. You're a Potter, aren't you? You look like one."
"Mm," Scorpius says, before that sinks in and he glances up at Harry's forehead to determine the truth. Following that is an open-mouthed stare. "But you're--" Almost my age is an exaggeration, but hell, it's close enough.
Seeing the young boy, Draco stops in his tracks looking stunned at how much he resembles him when he was younger. Used to weird things here though, he's not jumping to any particular conlusion yet - although what Harry's son Albus said to him does cross his mind.
Pulling himself together he frowns at the boy and asks abruptly, "Who are you?"
The brusque question annoys Scorpius, although the uncanny resemblance this boy bears to his father (and him) are not unnoticed. "Who are you?" he replies. "You tell me first."
