Prettified mansion for a day

His beloved summer is coming to an end, and Baldr is making the most of it while he can. Anyone who enters the downstairs rooms of the mansion will find that the walls have rolled up like petticoats, leaving the roof and upper stories to be supported by vines and trellises instead. Ada surveys the scene, quite delighted by it all (thought wondering a bit how such a room will hold up in winter--), hurrying along to look at first this vine-bedecked table, or this trellis, or, laughing, that bird.

He makes a journey back to the room, to collect something or other, and is more than pleased to see someone enjoying it. He will collect a bunch of lush roses, reds and whites and soft pinks altogether, and present them to her with an odd sort of bow. "One who is touched by beauty is beautiful indeed," he says with a delighted grin.

She laughs and blushes and accepts the roses with a curtsey and a shy, "Thank you!"

Mabon is chasing a bird. Birds are yummy.

Rina, at least, is absolutely enchanted by the effect, moving from flowery couch to arboreal table with an expression of pure delight. "Who did this?" she wonders aloud, touching a tall, vibrantly colored blossom that used to be a standing lamp.

"Do you approve?" He asks, having come stealthily back to the room to enjoy others enjoyment. The sunbeams that fall through the overhead foliage dance upon his brow.

"Of course!" she laughs. "It's beautiful! Did you make it?"

"I encouraged it, certainly! The plants have minds of their own once you show them away."

"Subtle."

But as long as Baldr isn't around to see, Loki'll allow the whole thing a grin.

Draco doesn't look too happy about the changes. "What's all this?" He grumbles.

"Some summer before the summer is over." Says Baldr, resting now in a spot between shade and light under the awning.

"This is supposed to be indoors, you realise." He arches an eyebrow.

[baldr_dash]

"What is indoors but outdoors that has been covered?"
