Since dawn there have been wonderful smells floating in the air, all warm and lovely and creating a wave of extra heat radiating from the kitchen

Mabon is--honestly surprised at the idea of there being pie for him, especially a pie instead of, say, a dead bird, but--receiving an offering is always appreciated by a god, especially a minor one, and he takes it back to his secret place in the woods quite readily.
When she finds it she smiles, and says softly, "Thank you, Mabon ap Modron" -- not a summons, despite the use of his full name, but a message sent out on the summer wind.

She has never had pie before; pie is an anomaly. Also to-day has been fraught with tape-flash, and she's skittish and on edge, and could desperately use someone to gentle her.
Tonks hasn't had many run-ins with crackplots around here, but her Auror training (plus her experience as a prankster herself) has left her with a healthy paranoia when it comes to food left lying innocently around.
On the other hand, that apple crumble pie looks awfully good...
So, after running a few magical tests over it, muttering spells and charms, and generally poking it once or twice with her wand, Tonks gives a shrug and cuts herself a piece anyway. "If I die, it won't be anything new," she says to herself as she takes a bite.
