With a thump, there is a new arrival in the mansion, falling out of mid-air into the main room, and thinking that he oughtn't have entered that particular doorway. He's not sure what happened, but he's hoping that he won't get in trouble for it, it's only his second week at Hogwarts after all

Tonks (who is giving up on any pretense of having any occupation or reason to be in the Mansion's front rooms) frowns. "Don't tell me, kid, you're lost and looking for Hogwarts, right?"

[metamorphette]

Tonks shakes her head. "I don't know... This place is weird enough, I guess, and people have come from the past or the future -- the way past, though, the 1800s and such. I don't think I've ever heard of someone coming from just a couple of decades away.

"You don't believe me, then?"

[metamorphette]

She looks at him for a long moment before answering slowly. "I guess I do. It's all part and parcel with this place's weirdness, after all, and you don't seem like you're lying. At the very least, you sure believe it."

"Good," he nods solemnly.

[metamorphette]

"So," says Tonks after a moment, "how'd you get here, Albus? Or more to the point, did anyone come with you, or are you alone?"
