Remus is -- presumably, headed down to make some cocoa, but he stops dead at the boy's last sentence.

"...Teddy?" It's almost unsure, but hopeful at the same time.

He's been warned that Remus is here, sort of, but that still doesn't prepare him for actually seeing him. "Dad?"

"You can't be --," a little shakily. "My son isn't more than a month old, he's certainly not as old as Harry. I must be finally going mad."

It's the 'top-ten status in training' that really gets his attention, "Quidditch, then? What position do you play?" He remembers himself and smiles, "Sorry -- Oliver Wood. Are you Professor Lupin's -- brother? Son? Cousin? Something?"

He blinks. "Beater, but that's not at all where I'm headed." He swells with pride, a little. "I'm his son, yes."
