Marlene will blink several times, not really believing what she's seeing.

"A-Alice?" she says uncertainly.

Typist: Just so's you know, from the backstory that I have created for Marlene and have been playing by, she was killed before the attack on Frank and Alice and before the Potters were killed. They would have attended Hogwarts at the same time, so I'm assuming they would have been friends or at least friendly with one another :)
