Finally noticing someone looking at the board, Fleurette strains her ears to hear Nancy's answer. "Oh, as old as that citoyenne?"

"Yes. They had the 150th anniversary back in twenty-six. It was swell."

Fleurette puzzles a bit and guesses at least the right century for Nancy. She draws back the towel covering the contents of her basket and offers Nancy a muffin. "I made them myself."
