Getting Rid of Stuff.

Once again a table at the Mansion has been commandeered and spread with gowns and frocks and dresses, in all sorts of material and patterns and colours; some with beading and some with embroidery and some with lace, what you will, all carefully and exquisitely made. It's something she can do well.

As usual, a sign is out. DRESES. FORE FRIE.

And here's Molly, who cannot read at all either, but cannot resist the beauty of these gowns. "Oh," she breathes, appreciatively, not much else to say.

She gives a small bob of a curtsy, just beginning to get a bit awkward because of the change in her shape. "I'm Molly. Molly Seagrim."

"Zara," tartly enough, no curtsy; but she's actually focusing on Molly again.

She nods. "Um... do you need me to stand a certain way?" As Molly's never been properly measured for a gown in her life.

"Stand straight," fishing in her sekrit pockets for measuring string.

Molly complies, holding back the urge to squee as that is something seventeen year old country girls, and not wordly-wise seductresses, would do.

Zara would be very amused if she knew. As it is, she starts taking measurements carefully, and prodding and poking and finally stands back and tucks the string back into her pocket. "Where are y'staying?"

"I'm up in the Mansion. Near Squire Jones, and Mr. Richard Carstone. If you know Curio, he also knows where to find me."

T: Whoa, unnoticed misjournal. Sorry.

"Dunno, but I'll find you."

She smiles. "Thank you, kindly."

[russet_goddess]

"It ent kind."

[youngandhealthy]

"Not mean either. Even ladies that wanted to get rid of dresses back home didn't give 'em to the likes of me."

She looks sharply at Molly. "Likes of you. Y're just the same as me, ent you?"

"I never had gowns like this needed getting rid of. The one I'm wearing I got here. I just had one Sunday dress and one dress for working in."

[russet_goddess]

"I just make them. This's what I wear," gesturing at her plain (ugly) black dress.

[youngandhealthy]

"But you could wear these, if you wanted. Here, at the least. And there's nothing this fine comes from the plothole."
