Armand made some tea and claimed a chair in the main room. He had his sketchbook out, but wasn't drawing. He was thinking, and he didn't like what he was thinking. Feel free to interrupt him.

*here's Daemon, passing by with a squirming Daemonar in hand, but he'll stop and arch an eyebrow at Armand* Good afternoon.

That gets a cold smirk out of him, remembering the recent crackplot. "Some of them more than others," in not quite a purr.

Honestly, it took a lot more courage than Armand knew he had to keep talking, even pretending calm. "What happens next? You are the scariest person I recall ever meeting."

Daemon gives him a very cold smile. "You recall correctly, then."

"Have I offended you recently? After, I can't remember earlier than a month ago."

[sadist_daemon]

"No, you haven't."

[sweariwontdie]

"Then why are you so angry?"

[sadist_daemon]

He laughs at that, low and rumbling. "This isn't angry. You haven't seen me angry yet, Armand."

[sweariwontdie]

That is something to be considered. Armand nods. He's quiet for a long while.

"I know there's something I should be worried about concerning you, but since I can't remember, I'm more worried about not knowing something that may be dangerous. Is there any light you can shed on it without... the roof falling on our heads?"

He glances at Armand, vaguely amused. "Don't irritate Warlord Princes. They tend to be passionately violent." There's a pause. "Some more than others."

Another solemn nod as Armand tries to file that away. It didn't do away with his fears completely, but allows him to label them. "I see. I will take care not to do that then, monsieur. As best I can anyway. You must not be the only one here then."

[sadist_daemon]

"Of course not. Yasi is one, so is Saetan, and then there's Rainier --Kaetien and Kaelas, too. And Daemonar, of course." He grins at the baby.

Armand makes careful note of the names. "So there's no terrible danger as long as no one gets angry?"

[sadist_daemon]

He nods. "If the room starts to get cold when you're around Saetan, run and run fast." There's something wary in his eyes at that last, a vague distrust of Saetan, mostly. "Same goes for Lucivar. It doesn't happen with Rainier that much."

Armand looks down at his hands, which at this point are simply clenched in his lap. "I understand. The same for you?"

[sadist_daemon]

He gives a low, slightly unsettling laugh. "Run faster for me."
