Tom really doesn't understand anything that was just said, but alcohol he gets. "Is it safe?" He's heard rumors about free food and drinks.

"Would I be drinking it if it weren't safe?" There's a pause. "You needn't answer that, actually."

"Oh. Well in that case..." Tom goes for the first bottle he can reach which happens to be vodka. Not actually knowing what vodka is, he gets a glass and begins pouring it in.

He shows up briefly and lifts a glass of wine in salute.

He frowns at the scene. "What's this...?"

"A party. What's it look like?"

[dracoslytherin]

"And the point of that..." He points at the alcohol. "... is what?" he looks very disapproving.

"To celebrate?" He responds, with a slightly infuriating sort of smirk. "I don't think there's ever been a celebration here without alcohol."

"... ....small Pontmercys, is it?"

"Yes! Marius' ladylove should be having the child any day know." There's a bit of a smirk. "I don't know if the world can stand another, but -- he didn't tell you about it?"

Lord Henry grabs a bottle and a glass, sprawling out elegantly nearby. "The place is far too interesting to self-destruct entirely after only two years."

"It self-destructs and rebuilds itself all on it's own it seems." He makes a noise and guilty adds, "I...may or may not have had a partaking in it too."

Henry looks amused. "Dear me. Productivity? How dreadful."

[ac_energy]

"Err, well it started out better than it ended, let's just say that." He takes another sip, "Say, do you know what lives in the lake besides the leviathan?"
