Poll time

Set up in the main room is a simple poll, much as has been done before. There is a notice above the ballots and the box which simply reads:

Please take this simple survey. If you have any questions, contact Samuel Spade. There are directions to his room as well.

I wasn't dead when I arrived here but I've been killed twice since...

"Really?" Spade was interested, if calm. "Would you mind telling me a bit about it?"

[dracoslytherin]

"What do you want to know? The first time I was killed in an instant by a god who was intent on killing a bunch of what he considered 'good looking people'. The other time I was tortured and murdered by my aunt..."

"Well, I don't want to cause you any trauma or anything. But I wondered if you remember anything about actually being dead. And, if you don't mind my asking, how did you come back?"

"Why are you asking such things?" Terisa's voice is almost to quiet to hear, and she wouldn't be surprised if he didn't answer.

Spade hears her, his sense of detail serving him well. He turns to her and says quietly if not truly gently, "I have a theory that I'm trying to test."

"Would it spoil your theory to tell?" She steps back a bit, as if alarmed at her boldness. "I answered your survey already, sir."

"Wouldn't spoil it, but I don't want to go upsetting people with something I'm not even sure about yet." He tilted his head. "Though if you really want to know, I'll tell you."
