Ulrike was relieved to see some of her people here, and that the Maou was safe.  She was also surprised to see the Original King in the flesh.  However, there are a few faces she has yet to see.

She's currently in the Mansion's library, sitting and reading a book that's surprisingly in her language.

Draco has gone to the library to see if there was anything useful to him there. He eyes Ulrike suspicously, thinking she looked a bit odd - and he also doesn't like children. He's assuming by her appearance that that is what she is.

He passes her by and goes to a nearby shelf, then mutters to himself as he strains to pull out a book that seems to be stuck. With a hard yank he pulls it out - but not without a number of other books clattering to the floor loudly.

His assumption is off by several centuries, more like eight. Ulrike looks up at the noise and noisemaker, a pale, angry-looking young man. Human? Probably.

She watches him before resuming her own reading.

He's been feeling awfully clumsy since he lost his magical skills - though that clumsiness is more fueled by frustration than anything else. He grumbles to himself, putting the books back and glancing at her to see if she noticed.

When he sees her still reading, he look a little relieved and starts flicking through the book he originally wanted. He frowns after a moment and says aloud, but to himself, "That can't be right."

She looks up a second time, her expression curious but not overly so.

This face, for example. Meleth hovers around in the background, not saying anything as to not disturb the girl in her reading, but ready should she be needed.

*turns a page, smiling as she begins reading a favorite tale*

Fleurette curtsies to the tiny woman. "Bonjour, ma--I mean citoyenne. Are you well?" She seems a bit anxious in something so formal as a library.

Ulrike looks up with a soft smile. "I am, all things considering. Thank you for asking."

"Would it be rude to ask where you're from?"

"I don't believe so, if I may ask you the same." *smiles* "I am from Shin Makoku."

The library is one of her favourite places, and she makes it a point to visit as often as she can. Today certainly is no exception to that, and while browsing the stacks, she'll come across Ulrike. Slightly surprised that such an apparently young person is in the library - but by no means displeased by it - and having long since learned that things aren't always as they seem, she'll smile...

"Hello."

Ulrike gives a small smile to the young stranger. "Hello." She watches her pass by, before returning to her book.

After having chosen her own book (on Númenor!), she makes her way back to the couch that Ulrike is on...

"Is this seat taken, please?"

She looks up again, smiling. "Not at all," she says, waiting for the younger woman to join her.

*looks at what she thinks is the title of her book* "May I ask what in what language that is written?"
