Wolfram sets up his easel in the main room, wanting to finally try out the paints he had gotten from Jackrabbit for Christmas.

"Does anyone want their portrait painted?"

Jackrabbit held up the baby. "Paint Mo Chroi!" he grinned. Mo Chroi spit bubbles, kicking his legs.

"All right... Just hold him still," Wolfram instructs, getting to work.

Jackrabbit clamped his arms around the baby. Mo Chroi bounced a little but mostly stayed still.

"Wolfram is going to paint your picture, Mo Chroi. We'll give it to daddy."

He looks back and forth between the baby and the painting. "Do you want to be in the picture as well?" He asks Jackrabbit.

She sits down and watches him, still with a smile on her face - she has barely been able to stop smiling for the last few days... after all, the man she loves proposed to her.

He sorts out his paints and starts painting, glancing from her to the canvass.

Mary is good at keeping still. She sits primly, the expression on her face somewhat too serious for that of a little girl.

"Not by you. Anyway, they've got this thing, called a camera. Makes little images of people on silver. Amazing. Much better than your damn paintings. My son used to muck about with them before he started starting wars."
