"A magnet? For what?" he asks, tilting his head.

"My experiments. I need to seperate polar chemicals, I've tried every other way. It will take me years to seperate the components without one."

"Oh, grasp. I don't have one, no. Perhaps the plothole may?"

"Plothole? What might that be?"

Engaged or not, Emma will always find time to be concerned over Henry, and so here she is, frowning a bit.

"I haven't a magnet, but perhaps a cup of tea would do? You look as if you could use one."

"I've been drinking tea by the potful for a week, I fear if I drink another cup I'll be ill. If you happen to find one, could you please pass it on?"

"Well, I wouldn't want you ill, of course." She pauses for a moment. "Yes. Yes, of course I shall. And... you'll take care of yourself, won't you?"

"I'll certainly try." He can't promise anything though. That really all depends on Hyde...

"I could show you... or look myself." He seems a little uncomfortable with the doctor, though he wants to be helpful.

Perry looks at the people being stupid and unhelpful, looks at Dr. Jekyll, and tosses him a large fat one shaped like a slug. It came from one of Arthur's nephews, and he's been trying to get rid of it for ages.

Henry catches the thing deftly, the relief is obvious in his posture and his eyes. He turns the thing over in his hands, taking a small compass out of his coat and checking to see which end is north and which is south. "This will work perfectly... Sir, you've my eternal gratitude."

Perry shrugs-- "I was aiming for your head." --and exits.

"I've been... busy. Very, very busy. Which reminds me, I won't be needing an assistant anymore. I thank you for your willingness, but I would not wish such a thing on even my greatest enemies."

[Typist: He won't get away from Mina that easily. She's persistant.]

Of course you've been busy. But you need someone's help, whatever you say. You can't deal with this on your own. *more quietely* Henry, you know I've met this alter ego of yours. I know you need to stop this.

Typist: XD Well, a guy can try.

"I thank you for your concern, but I've been doing quite well so far..." If quite well is miserable, perhaps.

"... have you? Of course you have, you wouldn't know if you hadn't." He curses some under his breath, an incredible thing for anyone who knows the saintly man well. "I know. I'm working on it as hard as I possibly can. But since you've met him, you understand why I cannot accept anyone's help."
