A Wandering Lestat

Having made his way out of the tower undetected, Lestat has decided to wander the halls of the Mansion properly, and see who he can meet along. He whistles a tune mindlessly to himself, hands shoved in his pockets and looks at everything with childish curiosity

Having left Lilli in Helena Landless' care for the time being (because we need not confuse Lestat with that, yet), Nicki is out for a bit of a stroll. He smiles and kisses Lestat's cheek, "Hello, darling."

Nicki couldn't help but laugh. "I like you like this, Lestat. Not that I don't always, mind you." Part of him wanted Lestat to stay this way, and he felt horrible for thinking that.

"I would hope so, for I don't know of any other way to be," he smiles warmly, eyes twinkling. "And what are you doing now, Nicki dear? I was just wandering about, seeing if I couldn't spark up some memories while David slept."

Suddenly a thought occurs to him and he bites his lip nervously. "You won't tell him that I was here, will you? He'll be upset with me, I'm sure, if he knows I left. Locked me in the tower, for my safekeeping I expect, but I think this place is magic. For when I decided I wanted to go out? The door was open! I can be back before he knows, oui?" He grins mischievously and takes his hand playfully.

"I could take you back to the tower, if you wanted. Keep you say there." He tugged Lestat's hand and started leading him back to the mansion. "Would you like to?"

"... you will keep me company until he returns then?" he asks hopefully, squeezing his hand gently and following him like a child.
