Under the Tree

With some help from both powerful and magical contacts, Murata has managed to get together a present for every person in the community and they are all now under the decorated Christmas tree he put up earlier along with help from some of the people in the community

Tesla actually ventures out of his room. Since the Violet Fire incident he has kept himself closed up for fear of retribution. He quietly slips down the stairs and stares at Ken.

"What's going on?" He asks quietly watching the others around the tree.

[ken_murata]

He smiles. "Christmas! Santa must have been here!"

[ac_energy]

He smiles and picks up a present. He unwraps it and it shows to be a small quartz crystal. The kind he's been looking for as an experiment. He turns back and whispers, "Thank you."

Ken just smiles back and peers at the crystal. "Ooh.. pretty! What's it for?"

[onlyachild]

*finds a gift with her name on it and sets it on her lap, carefully untaping the paper* Oh-- how very pretty! A new tea set!

[ken_murata]

From nearby, he smiles over at her.

[onlyachild]

*she begins to set out the entire tea set-- it's slightly smaller than normal china-- in front of where she sits* I shall certainly have to have a tea party now.

He's curious, so he looks, and finds a slender box with his name on it. Armand opens it to find a small stack of fine paper stationery and a new pen. He studies the pen, trying to figure out where the ink comes from.

Ken watches him curiously.

Armand looks up and around, looking for whoever might be responsible for the presents. He sees Ken and goes over to him. "Did you do this?"

[ken_murata]

He glances around, putting on his best innocent look. "Who? Me?"

Gringoire emerges to find the buzz around the tree. He sees a package with his name on it, and, curious, he opens it to find a typewriter. "What's this?"

[ken_murata]

"A gift!" Murata says, as he's watching nearby. He's not thinking that Gringoire may not know what a typewriter is.

[theblondgypsy]

"I could guess as much, but what is this?"

[ken_murata]

"Um. A typewriter? You know? You write with it. Sort of like a pen with perfect penmanship!" He grins.
