"You people have a little over a week left. All presents can be given to me here if you have them ready and I'll wait if you're not. Now get to it!"

Yes, he does sound as if he expects everyone is going to give him a Christmas gift. Nothing unusual going on here at all. XD

In Mattapoisett, gifts are given often but never NEVER requested much less demanded.

"I have nothing to give."

"You must have something." He raises an eyebrow.

Draco tends to demand this here regularly at both Christmas and his birthday so he doesn't think this is either rude or strange. He's selfish that way.

He shrugs.

"In Mattapoisett we do not own much. I have." he looks down, patting himself down. "String? I can make you a bracelet."

"String? Can't you go out and get something decent...? Hmm.. but if you must, I'll accept that..." He's picky but he'll still take anything anyone gives him.

Oh, look, Draco. Millicent's laughing at you. Rather hysterically laughing, as a matter of fact.

"What's the matter, Bulstrode?"

"Nothing's the matter. You're amusing, though, Malfoy."

"Am I? So... where's my Christmas present?" He gives her an expectant look.

Pansy's sitting in a corner, several books on hand, but they're unopened. One is doubling as a laptray of sorts, as she's working on a list. She hears Malfoy but doesn't look up.

He sees her and walks puposefully over, his voice pompous as he interrupts her work, "Parkinson! So are you working out what best to get me for Christmas there?" He peers at her list.

Yes, he does think everything is about him...

*still not looking up* "The same that you got me last year...nothing."

[dracoslytherin]

"Oh, don't be like that. So, seriously. What are you getting for me?" He's persistant in his belief that he deserves something anyway.

"Shit, is it that time of year again?"

[dracoslytherin]

"It certainly is." He raises his eyebrows and looks as if he's waiting for a present right this minute.

"... What?" Sweeney looks down at him as though he has no idea what Draco's talking about.

[dracoslytherin]

"Present? Gift?" He holds out a hand.

"You're a little demanding." She teases. But she offers her gift anyways. It's a book, one she thought he would like based on their previous discussions, something about the way history has been twisted, general history, something that would relate to his world and hers, wizarding and muggle, interesting tidbits of information.

He takes it and flicks through it, raising his eyebrows. "Interesting.... Thank you."

"You're welcome. It's not much, but I saw it and thought of you." A shrug. "Happy Holidays."

"You're the only person here being co-operative so far so thank you again." He looks pleased and that's a good point to her - which is hard to earn with Draco as he always wants so much.
