A question about religious education in schools
is whether the church is able to provide a quality
of teaching about the faith ,in so many schools, which
will attract people to the way of faith in later life
rather than repelling them.
certainly unprepared, spiritually unclutured, teaching
or teaching by well meaning people without qualification
as teachers, can have a negative rather than a positive
effect.
so if the Church wishes this education than it is the
responsibility of the Church to make a great effort
to provide real spiritual education.
just these thoughts
