Moss-stitch trim zip-up cardigan.

The Dreaded Lurgy keeps striking me down in sudden and annoying ways, so I have mostly spent the weekend quietly knitting.

It wasn't difficult, as such, but I found the pattern really frustrating. I couldn't knit on autopilot for even a couple of rows, otherwise I'd made a mistake. And it drove me crazy that the cables above the points and the cables down the front edges weren't twisting on the same rows. It just seemed unnecessarily fiddly for a pattern that shouldn't be that complicated.

This one is basically a plain cardigan, with moss stitch around the hems and up the front. That should give me a nice neat edge to put the zip into. :)

I abandoned my pointy cardigan too, frogged in frustration, if that's useful information to you? Stupid pattern!

I'm glad it wasn't just me!

It didn't seem as though it should be that difficult, but it was too much of a struggle for my liking.
