Looks like the journals aren't gibberish now, so I'll try this again.

All of the ice melted and now soil everywhere turned to mud, which is getting tracked everywhere.  I don't envy Housekeeping for having to clean that up.

I've been spending a lot of time at the stables recently.  I'm not Windmere's dedicated rider anymore.  She's free for the next ( Read more... )

flying is awesome, can't be rogue leader without rogues, the skies are blind

Stables? Hey, I didn't know you rode. Look at you! Going along with your cowboy blood, very cool.

Cowboy? [He shakes his head, composes himself.]

Yes, there are stables on Melee Island, and anyone can hire a horse, kodo, wolf, or chocobo to ride. Griffins and flying chocobos can be hired out too, but they require some lessons first.

Point. All the sewer lines seem to be intact.

Very. [He hesitates for a moment.] I had to write everything down as soon as I got up to make sure that the details would stay with me. They were all so familiar, but the whole thing felt so wrong.

[Sewer lines wat does that have to-- oh. brb facepalming.] Thankfully despite some freezing, many of the pipe systems survived. I'm sure maintenance is working on any that have burst.

[There's a pause here.]

No. No I didn't. Maybe I died and I'm in Hell or something.

Maybe we all are.

You weren't supposed to be there. Maybe - well, the dreams aren't always purely memories, are they?

I had another one when I, ah, came back after being killed, and I don't think anything quite like that ever actually happened.
