First, for carina84, ( SPN icons! )

supernatural, recs, icons

*squees very very loudly*

Thank you so much for the icons, they're so gorgeous! Good thing LJ increased the number of userpics, because I was running out of space. *big hugs* These totally made my day! :)

Thanks for the poem! Very sad, which went very well with your fic. Thanks for the fic rec too! More wonderful angsty fics to make me cry! (I'm such a fic maschocist.)

Sometimes I think fic is the purest form of masochism. Is it just me, or is there way too much angst in the SPN fandom? Not that I'm complaining....

Glad you liked the poem. Every time I read it, I see new things, and it's fun to share stuff like that.

LOL, there can never be too much angst! Seriously, there are a decent share of fluffier fics out there, as well as angst that at least ends happily. Plus the smut. We cannot forget the smut.

It's weird how some fandoms are really accepting og randomly killing characters off in fic. Back in the day I used to be in The Sentinel fandom, and I only ever saw one death story, and it was COVERED with disclaimers. "Warning Death Story. Blair isn't coming back from this one. No, seriously he's dead. Not just a little dead. Way dead. Read at your own risk." That fandom was ALL about hurt/comfort, but actual death? Hell, no.

We just love to torture the brothers way too much in SPN. But they're pretty when they cry. . . ;-)

But they're pretty when they cry. . .

Not to mention when they're smiling, or fighting or laughing or goofy. *g* I love those guys whatever their mood may be. *lol at the disclaimer* I used to read fic for an old '60s Western called Lancer, and I seem to remember the same tendency toward h/c and against deathfic. Mostly I notice individual fans who say they are too sensitive to read it. Never really understood until I read a few stories that absolutely crushed me. Now I read with caution. The funny part is being in a mood where that's the sort of story that you want to read....

I still have to watch the episodes of Supernatural you sent me (my plans were derailed in the last weeks) but when I do, I plan on reading your fic (btw, congratulations *grin* I'm so proud of you). And probably ask you some icons.
I love what you did with these, especially how you cropped #1.

Ooh, let me make you icons! When you watch the shows, tell me what you'd like, and I'll whip 'em up. *rubs hands together*

And thanks! I've been getting it together lately with the fic and icons, just a little, but there is so much more I want to do. Do you have anything in the works yourself?

Hm, I'm actually typing a short story I wrote last week, then I'll start the process of fiddling with it, which may take a lot and ending in not posting the story ;)
As for Photoshop, I'm not inspired for icon-making and graphic in general, even if making the banner for wat_icontest was fun :)
