Damn, I know what you're talking about when you talk about the band. I really want to do something about it. I want this season to be important, but either people don't give a damn and have already given up or they don't want to listen. Communication is a real big problem... shit if the drum majors wont even listen to the concerns of the people on the field, then what the hell are they doing? Most times it doesn't seem like our leadership has any idea what's going on, and that really doesn't help. They're not doing the best they can, or working at this as much as they should and everyone can sense it. Especially the bull shitting around I know some have noticed

It's obvious by now that Marching Band wasn't what we expected it to be. Oh well... just hang in there Vi Vo. I mean I'm having problems with my coach right now and having ideas of quitting but, I love being in colorguard too much that I'm forcing myself to hang in there. As for the whole authority thing, that's just what happens when people are given authority/power.
But like I said, hang in there because pretty soon will be in Hawaii and graduated. Once that happens, you won't have to put up with any of it anymore.

P.S. You ARE a great marcher and a flutist and if they can't see that then they're really missing something big.
