WOW Refer-a-friend?

Oct 08, 2012 14:53

Just a really quick question before I head out- if I DID buy WoW, would someone here want to do the Refer-a-friend thing?
(Thanks, Wertle, for the info about playing up to Level 20 free! :)- But I wonder, would that cancel out the refer-a-friend later?)

Well, if you like Pacific Coast late night times or don't mind an absentee friend...

Thank you for the info! :)
Let's see- it looks like we're on the same time zone right now, though next month you switch off Daylight Savings time and then CA and AZ are an hour apart (it'll be 12 midnight here but only 11 pm there). I will have more time off Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, and can probably play later nights Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. I usually try to get to bed before midnight (but have been known to stay up later when I've got the next day off.) Would these times work OK for you?

Well, to give the general gist of things, I usually get home from work at 8 PM Pacific, and bedtime for me is about midnight Pacific. Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoons are generally busy.

But if you wind up with several people interested in playing with you or get bored and decide to do other things with your time, well, there are worse fates and I shan't in the least bit be offended! Just keep in mind that people are spread across different servers.

I run on Stormrage (PvE), with Alliance characters, and you'd want to let me know what race you're starting as so I can start a char in the same area. Each race has its own starting area.

It looks like it won't cost anything (besides your soul, mwahaha) to give it a whirl, so if you give me your preferred email address and name by which you want the recruitment-o-gram to refer to you, I'll send it off when I get home.

OK! My email is houndbot at hotmail dot com. It looks like I may be watching a movie with my Mom and her boyfriend soon, so I'm not sure if I'll start tonight or not...but I'll let you know when I've got things ready to go.

(...I didn't really need my soul, right? :))

If you do decide to play WoW, I would recommend putting all the WoW talk on a filter that only other WoW players can read.

Hard to believe, but there's people out there that really, really hate WoW and will think you're a lesser person for playing it. It doesn't matter if you're playing responsibly or not. WoW players = bums in their eyes.

Ok, I'll definitely put WoW on a filter once I start playing! Thanks!
