Four of the 'Slayers TRY' episodes are on funimation.com.

Thanks for the link! For some reason Funimation was not working for me earlier, but now it is...

I think so. I was just watching a big battle scene in Episode 19 (Brotherhood) and all I can say is WOW!

I love Full Metal Alchemist! You might also consider Claymore. ;)

Excellent news! I love Slayers in all it's incarnations as well as FMA and FMA-B!

Hm, I'd been pondering whether to check out Full Metal Alchemist for a while. I've seen Slayers and Slayers Next already. Do you recommend getting the FMA series or waiting for FMA:B?

Hmmm... really, either one would be good. The nice thing about the original animated series is that it's complete- so if you get hooked, you can watch as much as you want. The only thing bad about Brotherhood right now is waiting each week for a new episode! *is impatient*
Just realize that, either way, they are both the same and different... don't watch one and expect it to be like the other. But they're both good. I'm biased towards Brotherhood just because I like the manga its more closely based on, but the first anime is still very good. :)

I do tend to prefer complete sets, so maybe I'll look for the Full Metal Alchemist boxed DVD set. :)

Ironically enough, just before reading this I had just gone out and bought the Season One boxed set of the first FMA anime.... :) It is probably good to start with, because the second series (Brotherhood) kinda rushes through some of the earlier stuff (I think they figured most people have seen the first series, and they wanted to get to the different stuff as soon as possible).
