So I am waiting for a response on several positions in Fort Collins, mostly stables and ranches, but a few other places as well. Ellen wants me to come up as soon as possible, my dad doesn't want me to go up until I have a job secured, but it's really hard to get one without going in for an interview. So I am mostly done with the packing, just need to clean some stuff up for the new people, and clean out the bird cage so it is ready to travel. I am picking up my new car today. I guess it's kind of the silver lining to coming back to Phoenix. My little sister really wanted me to name it so I named it Zabaglione, since it is the same color as the Italian custard (pronounced sabayon). It's also the name of a seal in one of my most memorable childhood movies "The Secret of the Seal ( Read more... ) -

I just friended my birth father on Facebook. I don't know if it was the right thing to do. His profile picture has both Jen and I in it. I started crying when I saw it, I have never seen a picture of us before the adoption. -

It was a mistake to come up to Phoenix. I knew that no matter how much I tried, I wouldn't be able to avoid my mother. Ever since I got here I've literally been trapped.
