Just wanted to say you did a great job with your site( http://arabic.desert-sky.net/). I've mainly studied only the standart variant of arabic and must say that your comparisons between the standart arabic and its egyptian dialect are very helpful in grasping the later.

Thank you! I'm glad you think the site is helpful. Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve it. I actually just came across this guide to the Egyptian dialect (PDF, 8mb), written for people with a background in standard Arabic; you might find it useful as well.
