I was so fortunate to get two mixes for my story, and both are truly exceptional! Don't forget to check out the link to the other when you're through here, if you haven't already.

The majority of this mix is quite punk, which means I can totally see all 3 main characters listening to these songs. And that’s an awesome thought right there. There’s enough variety though to still keep it interesting, and it’s just a perfect mix to go with the fic. :)

About the Cover Art

Omg! It’s the DVD cover, except with Gerard Way! I don’t think anyone can understand how much that pleases me so. Just looking at the DVD can cheer me up on a bad day, and to see it with THIS MAN INSTEAD?!? I don’t think I’ll ever HAVE a bad day again. Just because this exists. Lol. Thank you, piratesunk

Tracks That Stood Out

Wish Me Well (You Can Go To Hell): This one makes me giggle. And it fits so well! But in a fun way.

Enemy Mind: Really covers a lot of how Gerard thinks about and has to relate to Bert, and the choices he has to make.

Loss of Desire: Another perfect song for Gee and Bert, and the end of their relationship as Bert tries and fails to get himself figured out and cleaned up. Gerard still loves him, but enough is enough.

No regrets, no upsets
Even though you’re completely useless
It’s obvious, you’re a mess
I’m cleaning up everything that you left

Geraldine: Lol to Frank being Gee’s social worker. But yes, it fits very well, and even a little bit to Gee trying to help Bert. The rest of the lyrics fit Frank and Gee so, so well!

Find Comfort In Yourself: I don’t know if this is what piratesunk meant to do with this song, but I really feel like it’s half Gerard’s internal monologue, and half Mikey, telling Gerard that he is stronger than he realizes. Which makes sense, since those boys seem to have that mind-melding Way thing going on. :)

I Think That the World: PERFECT HAPPY ENDING SONG. Seriously. It fits Gerard at the end SO WELL. BOTH Gerards. :)

I got it wrong, but that's okay
you and I agree it's great this way

. . .

And the world can go it's own way
In fact, it can fade away . . .

Seems to sum up the whole Parallel Universe scenario quite well, doesn’t it? ;)

Mirror Mirror (bonus Track): What I like to think of as the music to which the end credits rolling. :)

Thanks piratesunk, for the awesome, awesome mix.
