It's probably just my skewed perception, but it seems like violent bombings have been on the rise lately.  I almost can't read about the tragedy in Norway because it's so upsetting. The fact that that man would target a youth camp is just sickening.  It doesn't seem to be motivated by any goal other than hate.

All of those reasons make sense. I also think part of it is that I can understand the tragedy better than when I was younger. I've read about other bombings in the past few years, but for some reason, this one has stuck in my mind much stronger.
