Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in.

So, I've been wanting to do an essay for Kakashi and Sasuke a long time, since it's my second favourite ship (after NaruSakuSasu) and I write it a lot.  I've heard those who like KakaSasu accused of ( Read more... )

*nodnodnod* very nicely put.

On a side note, check out this picture again:

and take a look as Sasuke's left hand. Creepifying, isn't it?

Wow (I wonder how long that took you?)... Anyway, well argued. I can agree with almost any type of bond they share because of the deep complexities and similarities within each of their personalities. And with any deep connection there are ways to find a physical relationship.

Personally, I agree hands down. They are quirky, dysfunctional, raw, and co-dependent.

Two days! XD

And thanks. Sasuke's my favourite character, so all the bonds he forms are interesting to me by default, but I think the Kakashi/Sasuke bond is one of the most complicated apart from the Itachi/Sasuke bond.

Oh we are so copasetic. I definetely love Sasuke best, and Itachi/Sasuke and Kakashi/Sasuke best. Why can't anyone else understand? *sniffles*

But wow... two days? *claps*

I agree completely. And nice essay, btw. I love how subtle Kakasasu is; especially those little bits like when Kakashi holds Sasuke up with his knee and the part where Sasuke's wondering if it's a date xD -- although I'm not sure that's what Kishi was going for when he drew it. Their relationship is a lot of meaningful silences and looks, which is the best thing about it. Those two don't really talk much, to other people or about themselves, and the fact they're so much alike is just what draws them together and makes them comfortable with one another. Sasuke and Kakashi have a connection Sasuke will never be able to have with Naruto -- or anyone else, but I use Naruto because it's probably the most intense relationship IMO in the series (barring Itasasu for obvious reasons). Not to mention Kakashi is pretty much the only person who understands Sasuke better than anyone, and is the only person who seems able to get through to Sasuke, if only a little bit.

Anyway. I'll stop rambling now. <3

Of course you may. But be warned, I'm probably fantasizing about old men fucking young boys. Think you can handle that kind of depraved hijinks on your f-list?

And yeah, I almost forgot about that scene. I found it cute that he asked after Kakashi and actually seemed disappointed that he wasn't there.

Yes, yes writing about the (mostly platonic) connections between characters of a different age constitutes pedophilia.

Somewhere in time/space you have an ancestor who wishes he'd gelded himself.
