Well, it's quite an emotional moment to see Czech lost that way, even though I don't support either Czech or Greece.

But it's a nice surprise to see Collina being the referee for this match!! :D He'll be forced to retire from Italian Serie A because the Italian retirement age is 45... The story is here. Once upon a time Les + I were going to write ( Read more... )

Of all the worst time for our cable provider to pull of their freebie access to the Fox Sports World (and it's been free for months!), they had to pull it in the middle of the Euro Cup so I haven't seen any more games after Italy vs Sweden (or was that Denmark?). I have to pay $20 per game. At least back then I could watch delayed telecast. Well I guess it's a money generating scheme so I shouldn't complain.

... sorta without a bang. {:((( $20 per game!! Maybe it's a good thing that Italia was long gone. ;)

Is there an American one coming up?? I forgot which team is Rogue Santa-Cruz in... Paraguay or Uraguay??

Roque is with Paraguay... I think the American Cup is in August. That, I'm sure, we'll have plenty of free coverage cause the Mexican cable channels -- and here in California, we have a plenty -- always devote 24/7 coverage to these matches. Dunno anyone in the teams playing though.

I think strangely this year there'd be coverage on one of our local tv channels... Hope I can catch a Paraguay match then, but somehow I've heard a number of bad things about the American Cup. I'm curious what I'd see!! *hopeful*
