Along with many, many others, mcalex22, yokiem, starrylizard, rinkle, Cuddles, K9 and I went along to the SupaNova convention this weekend.

I can't believe Padalecki got away with calling Cuddles and K-9 cute! Were they both feeling generous, perhaps, being on home soil? ;) I'd almost ask you to bring them to visit me one last time, but bag restrictions, etc etc ;D

For some reason, a lot of people were calling Cuddles and K9 (especially the latter) "cute". And those two will shamelessly play the role to the hilt if it suits their purposes.

Also, I do think Mr Padalecki has an appreciation of the weirder side of life (especially when he meets the fandom, I expect). He really does seem like a fun guy with a somewhat wicked sense of humour. And Jewel Staite seems to have a somewhat devilish sense of humour too. I caught quite a bit of both of her talks and his on my camera (far too much to upload) and I'll bring the clips down to Melbourne with me next weekend. You have a Mac, right? I might convert them to quicktime files.

Oh, and yes, K9 might be a bit too large for the baggage restrictions, but Cuddles will probably stowaway for the flight south, methinks.

I was going to offer to burn stuff but since you have, it'll be cool. I'm still working my way through a list Jak sent a while back - ie stuff on my harddrive for her!

I can easily burn some pics and even more vids as my sound was quite good!

I haven't got to watching your vid clips yet. I'm kinda hoping that you got the bits of the talks that I missed (kinda think I was refocussing or changing batteries at crucial moments).

If you're interested, I replaced my scanner-printer today and I've scanned the photo on it which really does improve the quality. And I edited this post to include the newer better copy, so if you want to save a better copy, feel free. I'll also download the original scan jpg files onto a memory stick and bring it along to Melbourne, so if you want to get it then, that's fine too.

I've got some more photos and clips (and I've discovered I can "screencap" my clips) so I'll try and post more later. But there were so many people with various cameras there. (I was conscious that in some shots I took, I photographed someone else's hand holding a camera! LOL!) So, I expect that there will be lots of clips up at YouTube by now as well.

Gotta say, I've got no regrets about sacrificing the whole weekend to go to the con both days (but then again, Olympic Park sin't too far from where I live).

And they seem determined to charm their way through the cast of every sci-fi TV show past and present. LOL!
