So some of my friends asked, with regard to my newfound obsession, if and when I would make a vid for Supernatural. The answer is yes and now ;-)
The Supernatural soundtrack has got me on a classic rock kick, particularly with their use of AC/DC. And so I revisited some other Aussie hard rock acts of the same era (I do get patriotic about the

For some reason, when it comes to vidding, I've not been satisfied with anything I've done lately. It's not for lack of ideas, though. Right now I've got seven vids in five fandoms that I want to do. Most of them are just in the idea stage at the moment, but I have a few going, including a ship vid. I watched Eureka when it was showing on the Scifi Channel over the summer. I totally fell in love with the show (because I *really* needed another fandom to get involved in -- yeah, right LOL), but was very shocked to find myself becoming a shipper for two of the characters. Seriously, I think that the world may be coming to an end or something. ;-) LOL ( ... )

LOL! I totally get that too. In fact, that's exactly what it was like with me and Supernatural. So don't need another obsession, but what can ya do. And guess what? Looks like the same thing is happening to friendshipper. We're all doomed! LOL!
Good luck with your vids!

Thanks! Actually, after complaining about it, I made progress on my current vid. I said that I didn't have time last night, but since I was having trouble sleeping anyway, I got up and worked on it. It's about halfway done or so. I'm very excited about it. I can't wait to get it done and post it. It's an SGA episode vid for Coup d'Etat and the song is called Revolution Under Foot, by Reverend Horton Heat. I mean, how ridiculously perfect is that? I had to do a vid to that song. The only thing that worries me is that I hope I don't run out of clips before I run out of music. The song is almost four and a half minutes long and I only have one episode to work with.
And I watched your vid last night too. I've never seen an episode of Supernatural, but I still enjoyed the vid. Nice work as usual, though I've come to expect nothing less from you when it comes to vids.

When I heard the song recently, I just really thought that it suited the show and the Winchester family. And yeah, really happy that you enjoyed the results.

Gorgeous vid! The whole thing's very well done of course (and I would expect nothing less *grin*) but I particularly liked the intro with the photos, and the overlap of their younger selves with their current selves. Yet another vid I'll be putting in my "frequently watched" folder, I think ...

The idea of overlapping the younger versions of the boys with the latest episode pics came to me at the last minute actually. I was pulling out clips to make a (mostly) sequential montage of the boys interactions in season 2 - and when I picked out those shots from Croatoan I realise that the reminded me of some of the flashback shots in Something Wicked (coz as you know, I love that episode and have watched it far too often for someone who's only been watching the show for a couple of months! LOL!
And I really like your new icon!!! (Although in truth, all he really needs is his gun, his car and his brother *smirk*)

But thanks, glad the vid idea worked for ya.
(Okay, I'm laughing on the inside ;-P)
