Composite vid of Jensen Ackles and Jason Manns singing
So...
Recently, Jensen Ackles sang and played guitar with his friend Jason Manns at the "Jus in Bello" Supernatural convention in Rome. And, of course, there have been several video clips of the event captured and posted by fans who were there. Also another fan (ldyghstwhisprer) took the audio and cleaned it up so it sounded pretty.
I caught a moderately nasty bug from my nieces and nephews over the Easter break and ended spending Thurs and Fri at home this week. Mostly just sleeping it off. Mostly. But I also cheered myself up watching and listening to these clips. And then I thought it might be nice to edit together a "composite vid" using them.
I've sort of fell out of the vidding habit for a while and I also switched over to a Mac (#@$%&^@&#% Vista!) and I never really got into using the new program I got for vidding. So this was as much an experiment playing around with the effects of Final Cut Express as anything else. The result is still a bit rough around the edges, but I like it.
So, here it is. Jensen Ackles and Jason Manns performing "The Weight" written by Robbie Robertson (and originally performed by The Band).
BTW - YouTube hates me! I finally bothered to get myself an account there and it's took me 3 attempts to get this uploaded. I dunno. Maybe I was doing something fundamentally wrong, but the stupid thing kept crashing during the uploads.
Anyways. I gotta say thanks to all the fans who went to the con and posted their clips. I found them via supernatural_tv and SuperWiki. So big time thanks to tiradelaflauta, axia85, byromeanon, kros_21, priscilaltm, stagie, jiiaffa, animotus, melherrmann and (of course) ldyghstwhisprer.
