I've erased things like 8 times by accident before.. the final time just decided not to bother retyping. >___> Thank god for autosaved entries now though.
Considering my external blew up on me the other day when I had no time or ability to back-up everything beforehand (wave goodbye to all my art), I can say with confidence I know the feeling. Paying $1,500+ to get it back is, you know...
That said, I've gotten in the habit of writing everything (before I post online) in a personal document (Word, text) and saving it continuously if it's of any considerable length. It's been a very good tactic for preventing rage-inducing situations with browser crashes and online format fuck-ups.
