Even considering that mr. Spuky here has tackled the most important issues of the week and highlighted the essential parts, I believe he left out the part of the restrictions that were probably the most obvious reasons to ban Brainstorm and Ponder.

As put by someone in the starcity forums:

4 Gush
4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
4 Oath

and

4 Gush
4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
4 Flash

doesn't really sound like different decks at all. The truth is, they don't play very different either.

Are the restrictions stupid? Up to a point yes, but they are done with a valid reason in mind: Get the metagame more diverse. They don't stop being stupid, and if I played Vintage, I would feel a little cheated, not by this restriction, but by thinking in what future restrictions may show.

Creo que es por legacy. A wizards le gustó lo que pasa con el formato, hay decks cambiantes, una buena idea puede llegar al top 8 y la selección de cartas no se basa en las mismas bases, pones azul especificamente por el fow, brainstorm, ponder y el tutor chafa (que aunque sea chafa sigue siendo un maná más para un ancestral, rasca tres por UU)

Así que como wizards quiere ver los mismos cambios en el hermano mayor, pero es vintage, se supone que lo juegas porque ya te gastaste un buen de lana, lo menos que quieres hacer es probar cambios, estoy seguro que es de las razones principales por las cuales estás jugando vintage.

En cambio legacy todavía es un formato joven, aunque ya se están viendo cartas que se usan en varios decks (tarmagoyf pasa al fondo... corriendo de un fow), pero no hay un decy dominante en si, cuando lo haya y tenga un set de cartas que se empiecen a usar en varios decks pues entonces nos estaremos quejando y ranteando al respecto todos los jugadores de legacy.
