From what I know, KJV is more old English-y compared to NRSV. And I think Protestants use the KJV version more, and the NRSV is more for the Catholics. (If our high school alma mater isn't proof enough of that, I don't know what is. I still remember our CLE teacher restricting us to using either NRSV or NAB.)

I remember seeing a King James Version of the Bible in the grade school library (I got around the lib nung elementary kasi I finished all the books that interested me dun sa fiction section... I transferred to the non-fiction section when I was in grade 5)
