[For anyone that's been keeping score, they've probably noticed by now that Derek hasn't been seen in the village for a week, even for incidental supplies. He also hasn't been on the journals at all...except for an occasional bout of guitar playing. He hasn't been saying anything though. And the guitar paying stopped three days ago

[When Mike sees the "present" left in front of the house, he's suddenly glad he's been keeping Klunk indoors lately. But it's the symbols that make him call out.]

[Sorry, no Don at the moment. Leo's walking to the front door. He stops in his tracks when he sees the present.]

What on earth? [He steps outside and that's when he catches sight of the symbols. They're enough to make him tense and go on alert, searching the area to see if the culprit is still around.]

[He's no stranger to dead animals or blood. But he's also no stranger to horror movies, and this whole setup is making his genre-senses tingle.]

I think... we should get inside.

[One of you might see it...the flash of twin points of bright blue 'light' off in the underbrush of the nearby woods. Like eyes. Watching.]

[Leo's just observant enough to catch those eyes. His instinct kicks in, and he draws a shuriken, and flings it at where the eyes are. Sorry Derek, he doesn't know it's you.

He'll wait for Mikey to get inside, before he heads inside and shuts the door.]

I thought I saw something and it felt like somebody was watching. [He'll pick up the shuriken later, if it's left in the area.]

[Mike makes creepy noises, and he sounds like he's joking, but really? He's scared.]

[Leo doesn't like it either. Dead animals, symbols. It almost looked like some kind of ritual]

We need to find out what those symbols are. Also possibly remove them.

Dude, I am not going back out there. Not until like next year sometime.

We need to get them removed. Whatever that was out there, the symbols could be attracting it.

[He shivers, then looks thoughtful.]

I'm not getting weird because the house is dirty. [It's not about that. It's about the fact that somebody sneaked up to the house, left a dead animal on their porch and painted symbols in blood. Not to mention the whatever the hell it was out there.]

Where's Don? We need to tell him and Master Splinter.
