[He will go ask him about that later.. but for now, his face takes on that familiar smile]

I look forward to you being our Art-Sensei. Itachi-sensei already has my project work though.

Mm, good job. I knew I wouldn't have to worry about you, Sai. [ Very attentive to art, loyal and polite.

Deidara blinks slowly. ]

Do you truly look forward to having me as your art teacher?

Oh he is? But I thought Itachi-sensei wasn't that old? Is he sick? [Doesn't get it obviously]

[Have some blinking right back] Of course I do. I mean- I liked having Itachi as an Art teacher but I like you too? It is my favourite subject.

Heh. I was joking, Sai. [ It would have been funny if he continued messing with him, but he chose not to. ] He will be teaching a music class instead, un.

Well, since you like me and all, I want a red apple on my desk everyday, un. [ And now he's being serious. ]

[he shrugged, he hadn't ever attended any of Itachi's classes, so it didn't bother him all that much.

Though he did have what he started the last class, only it hadn't actually started to look like anything until he'd become completely mindless to his work.

Which turned out to be claws. Claws that held themselves open like they were cupping something. The first two guess as to who's those claws belong too didn't count. ]

[ It's the first thing Deidara noticed when he walked in this morning. It stood out among the other projects, and the blond found himself sneaking a peek at the object more than once during the class today.

After the announcement, he made his way toward Gaara's spot, arms still folded against his chest, but-- he was no longer scowling. Instead, his moods seem to have been improved slightly. ]

I'm curious ... What did you have in mind while creating this piece?

[Temari had filled water balloons with different coloured paints and is throwing them at the wall. However, perhaps one balloon hits someone else instead..?]

[Just staring at Deidara from his seat-- Instantly his hand shoots up, but he doesn't bother waiting for him to acknowledge it to speak up.]

Uh-- so... Like, my extra credit stuff will count for Art now?

[ Naruto should really learn not to interrupt Deidara when he's speaking. It happened so many times, and he was tempted to just-- flip a table or something.

He sighs. ]

Yeah. Even though half the class seems to have already seen you naked, and it killed the whole point of the assignment, but- you're still getting the extra credit.
