Oh, I like that. I rewatched Back to the Future II lately and I thought it was paradox, because the way the doc paints it on the blackboard you'd think that when they are in the future to their present they can't possibly travel back to the alternate present. That would only be possible if the two futures are the same and only the presents are different like in your snap back timeline. That's a good idea, never thought of that. Phylosophical or scientific question would be why the universe would want to snap back to a particular status quo. Interesting that

Cyanide? Huh? *checks DK book of time and space* Well, either way, it's kind of a cruel thing to do to a cat...
I think the idea with conventional timeloops is that all matter and energy are reset to their original postions as though the past x amount of time had never happened. Why you would be able to remember that at all is a question worth considering, but of course without that, where would the story be? And from the way time loops have been written on tv, that seems like in a time loop moments and events are actually destroyed for good and only the last cycle would be part of the timeline. is pretty accurate. Not that I'm not going to have fun writing them the other way, though

That's the problem with doing anything people don't understand/ care to know much about. New Zealand is that place where they filmed Lord of the Rings. Twin Peaks was that show with the dancing midget
