Voronin to leave BayerBayer 04 Leverkusen striker Andrej Voronin has announced that he will leave the club when his contract expires in the summer
( Read more... )
Yup, Voronin's gonna leave well, he hits the post most times, anyway xD xD..no, I didn't just say that. Even though he gives away chances, which are just too good to be true...he's one of the players who's pushing the team..and we definately need players like him.
and YAY for today's victory *dances with you* I was jumping up and down like mad while listening to the radio xD
I just hope that Bayer would find a better replacement to fill Voronin's shoes. I mean, even though he wastes chances sometimes, he's still a damn good player.
I'm doing a report about my fav. football player for my English essay (the whole 3700 words of it -.-) and I'm planning to do a report about Bernd.
I was wondering, was he ever offered to play somewhere? I mean, he's been in Leverkusen for four years (give or take) and had he ever been offered a chance to play somewhere outside of Leverkusen?
I agree with everything you sid about Voro..and Bayer finding a good or even better replacement..hm
An English essay about football..now, that does not sound too bad at all =P
Actually, Bernd has been at Bayer since 1999, though, he just got a keyplayer for the starting line-up in 2001.
And then...if I remember correctly, I once read a magazine article (yeah, I've pretty much become a geek with magazine reports 'bout football since WC2006 *g*) where they talked about his past an everything else, as well..and there they mentioned, that..after he played so great during the final against Brazil (during WC2002), there were some offers, from Real Madrid - I don't know how serious those offers were, all they said, was that Bernd did not feel ready to move abroad.(or..to be more specific, they quoted him saying that) *needs to get hands on this report again
( ... )
I also found an article about Bremen offering him a spot with a very very good offer with the money and transfer funds and stuff back in 2005, but I don't think he accepted the offer *the guy's a really loyal Leverkusen player*
Ah, I need to find more sources! The essay is due next week!!
I wonder why he loves playing in Leverkusen so much? I mean, not that I mind, since I also love Leverkusen, but it would be nice for him to play abroad, you know?
Yeah, I heard about this a while ago... I mean, of course, Voronin scored many goals for Leverkusen, but I don't think letting him go is a mistake. He hasn't scored too often lately and he definitely won't leave as big a space as Berbatov did, because Kießling can replace him quite well, and he deserves a regular berth.
I was a bit sad for Stuttgart, because they really needed the points, but I was so damn happy for Leverkusen! Juan's goal was a thing of beauty. And Adler once again parried EVERYTHING. Oh, so much love!
Yeah, I really hope that Kießling would have a much better form next season. I mean, the guy's got talent, and he's a good player too! Like the thing he pulled during the game against Schalke! I was in awe *g*

Eh, I wasn't that sad, since we need the points more that Stuttgart if we want to compete in the next UEFA matches next season =/
And Adler once again parried EVERYTHING. Oh, so much love!
The guy's got talent! I mean, with more experience, I think that he'll be even better that Butt!
