Entry: 25; A concerned citizen

Mar 08, 2010 20:47

After yesterday's stupidity, let's return to something more serious, shall we.

Our dear local police force continues to be a sorry excuse for someone actually competent. We all know that, don't we. Just look at their marvellous success as of recently; people murdered left and right, but if one isn't drawing swastikas on their crimes, obviously, it ( Read more... )

murder~, subj : pathetic police force, !plot plot plot, mocking the city, plot : master+rido's dinner party, trolling rip in the dungeon, who needs secrecy

[ Okay, he's laughing too much not to make this a voice reply ]

And to think I overestimated them. It's all true, isn't it? As if it wasn't bad enough that they had no idea what they were doing, they outright admitted it a couple days ago.

Think they'll respond to you? I sure hope so, I could use some laughs today.

[Sounds rather amused, if a little dry in return.]

They even admitted it? Oh, now I'm impressed. So helpless, so clueless, so unbelievably stupid-- Considering one of their own got killed, too, one would think they'd try harder. Where did they say so?

I do hope so as well. But then, they never particularly liked to listen for a moment, did they.

Oh, one of them was talking to...who was that, Thomas? And he said they had no idea, they were working on it, but there was no one in charge, et cetera, et cetera. [okay, slight misquoting, but he'll ignore that. ]

I'm sure they're working on it very hard, but- well, they aren't exactly organized, are they? Not as well as whoever put this latest shindig together, at least. I'm sort of sad I missed it, that video of Justin was impressive. And here I thought I was the only person who could reduce someone to bones.

...This gets more ridiculous by the second.

Of course, Mister Pendleton. Such a pity I had promised my little Lady not to touch her toys... ahh, but if you're so starved for a glorious event, Sylar, there's always a next time~. I would like to witness those hidden skills of yours, yes.

I'm sure Justin was a lot of fun, before he lost...well, most of himself. I can see why Road enjoys poking at him so much, I had a couple people like that back home.

Always a next time, hmm? I'd love to be able to stretch my metaphorical wings a bit- it's been way too long since I've been able to use some of my more fun powers. The monsters in the Underground aren't exactly satisfying, and my main prey is woefully lacking in this City now. I really did wait too long. Let me know next time something comes up?

Oh- by the way, your clock is ready. Hope it's what you wanted. [ it matches the picture, at least ]

You know Miss Road?

But of course, I will. Waiting too long really is unhealthy and why would you, when there is no need and plenty of enjoyable company. Very well so.

Ohh~, good job, thank you! If possible, I shall come to pick it up tomorrow.

I do. We've had a few discussions, and she gave me a safe place to vent when I was being watched like a hawk- you know, back when the police force was slightly more effective.

Thanks. Waiting is rather unhealthy, isn't it? And if I hadn't been home recently, it would've been ages for me. Lucky for that, at least.

No problem. It'd been awhile since I created an alarm clock from scratch- I honestly appreciate the change of pace.

How curious! Perhaps it's a habit of hers.

Returning home... that must have been quite wonderful.

Very well, good to hear. Not surprising it's not what you're usually doing, though.

She does seem to like chatting with the fun ones.

Oh, revenge is always wonderful. And I got my pick of powereds- it's great when they all hide in the same place.

Oh, that clock? The first one's free, as they say. I've been running a promotion this week. Just be sure to recommend me around, if you like it?

Revenge, Sylar? What an interesting tale. Revenge for what, I wonder.

Wonderful! And of course, I shall. Recommanded by me, publically? Someone changed his mind, it seems.

Oh, revenge for mindwiping me and making me think I was someone else entirely, trapping me in some fat-former-cop's head, and for lying to me again about what was going on. Oh, and for making me wear plaid. I got back at a lot of people that last day. And every single one of them tried to bargain with me- as if they had anything to bargain with. I only wanted them for their minds...well, and to cause them pain, but I could accomplish both on my own.

Oh, look at me, I'm rambling. Thank you, Rip.
