Sad but liked it, makes me wish this gizzie thing would be done soon so she can see how perfect her and alex are together all over again...

I hope for the same thing, too, although Iz will have to work extremely hard to get him back, I think. But thank you very much for reading and reviewing. :)

this rules :) i really loved the description and detail. my favorite part was "after he’s stopped noticing things, the darkness that’s resting heavy on his shoulders seems to have covered him like a blanket, and here she is, tossing it up over his head and she’s going to climb under the covers with him.". For a drabble, this conveys a lot and I like that I can feel like I'm there.

I don't really follow GA much so I'm not sure of the events up to this point (of George and Izzie I am aware, but beyond that? Nada.) Anyhow, from what I've seen of the show you've captured these two beautifully. I love your turn of phrase and how a stock metaphor sounds something fresh because you add more to it:

She stays still, a porcelain statue kept on a shelf, high and out of reach from the grubby child with breakable hands.
Case in point.

I loved the use of the prompt (I'm using the same one in fact), it worked really well and definitely didn't feel forced. Great little piece.

GA is losing me as a watcher; I only tuned into this episode solely for the Alex/Izzie scenes. :p But, thank you very much! :)

I'm still wounded over Izzie. After the whole thing with Denny there was sort of only one acceptable choice for her and it was staring her right in the face even when Duquette was alive and that was Alex. *sighs* I could forgive GA if those two got on the long hard road to reconciliation. Anything else is frustrating.

I really loved this. It was nice and vivid and I can visualize it nicely. :) Thanks for a good read.

I really hope that they're endgame. I absolutely adore the two together, and I think Alex really does love Izzie - and Izzie probably loves Alex, although it's kind of hard to tell with her. :p I don't like them with anyone else; it doesn't feel right and, in my opinion, it's rather awkward to feel comfortable with it. :p

Thank you. :)
