As much as I dont want you to leave, I say do it. Chicago is filled with many more job opportunities, its good to get a change of environment, and you wont be completely alone because you'll have megan there, and I think she needs someone to comfort her just as much as you do right now. & your only a flight away <3 Maybe this is what you need, and I'm sorry if I didnt support your previous decisions as far as relocating goes, I really do think this is what you might need to get everything straight in your life.

Definitely! I've always thought about living in Chicago. This way, I can just visit you lots for long periods of time, and that should be sufficient enough. Go thrifting and by lots of warm clothes first, though! But I agree with Ash and say go for it!
